One thing I’ve always wondered about is why so many ghost sightings seem to happen in older buildings. The stories always seem to come from places with a lot of age and history behind them.
Do older buildings somehow hold onto energy from the past, or is it just that they’ve had more time for stories and legends to build up around them? Maybe people simply expect to experience something strange when they’re in an old creaky building, making them more likely to notice things that seem paranormal.
I’ve been in a few older buildings that definitely had an eerie feeling to them, but I’ve never been sure whether that feeling was something paranormal or just the atmosphere of the place.
