ABOUT THE TRUTH UNEXPLAINED

ABOUT THE TRUTH UNEXPLAINED

The unexplained is only the beginning.

There are thousands of strange encounters, unexplained events, unusual photographs, eyewitness accounts, forgotten stories, and unanswered questions scattered across the internet.

Most are discussed for a few days.

Then they disappear.

The Truth Unexplained was created to give those cases somewhere to go.

We are a social community built around the investigation, discussion, documentation, and exploration of the unexplained.

Not just a place to read about mysterious cases.

A place to investigate them.

A COMMUNITY BUILT FOR INVESTIGATION

The Truth Unexplained brings together people who are fascinated by the unexplained and gives them the tools to do something with that interest.

Whether you’re interested in UFOs and UAPs, cryptids, hauntings, paranormal encounters, strange phenomena, mysterious places, historical mysteries, or events that simply don’t have an easy explanation, you can create a case, gather evidence, discuss possibilities, and work with other members to see where the evidence leads.

You don’t have to be a professional investigator.

You don’t need special credentials.

You simply need curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to look at the evidence.

CREATE A CASE

Every investigation starts with a question.

Members can create their own Case Files to document unexplained events and preserve the information surrounding them.

A case can include:

  • The case title
  • Date and approximate time
  • Location
  • Type of phenomenon
  • Event classification
  • Witness information
  • A detailed description
  • Photographs
  • Video
  • Audio
  • Documents
  • Other supporting evidence

Once created, a case becomes more than a post.

It becomes a record that can be investigated.

Cases can evolve as new information, evidence, theories, and investigations are added.

INVESTIGATE TOGETHER

You don’t have to investigate alone.

The Truth Unexplained allows members to contribute to cases and work together toward a better understanding of what happened.

Members can participate in investigations, examine evidence, contribute information, suggest explanations, and discuss competing possibilities.

One person may notice something another person missed.

Someone may recognize a location.

Another member may have experience identifying photographic artifacts, researching historical records, analyzing audio, or understanding a particular type of phenomenon.

Different perspectives can produce better investigations.

DISCUSS THE EVIDENCE

Every case needs somewhere for ideas to develop.

Our Forums provide a place for members to discuss cases, theories, evidence, discoveries, and unexplained phenomena.

Ask questions.

Challenge assumptions.

Share research.

Present alternative explanations.

Point out inconsistencies.

Or simply discuss what you think might have happened.

The goal isn’t to force an explanation.

The goal is to explore the possibilities.

BUILD YOUR OWN COMMUNITY

Some investigations naturally attract people with the same interests.

That’s where Groups come in.

Members can connect with others who share particular interests, whether that’s:

  • UFOs & UAPs
  • Cryptids
  • Ghosts & Hauntings
  • Paranormal Investigation
  • Historical Mysteries
  • Strange Places
  • Unexplained Events
  • Photography & Evidence Analysis
  • Local Investigations
  • Specific cases or phenomena

Groups give members a place to develop ongoing communities around the subjects that interest them most.

FIND PEOPLE WHO SHARE YOUR INTERESTS

The unexplained community is made up of people with very different experiences and interests.

Some are researchers.

Some are skeptics.

Some are believers.

Some are investigators.

Some are simply curious.

And some have experienced something they cannot explain.

The Truth Unexplained gives those people a way to find one another.

Connect with other members.

Follow their activity.

Discuss their interests.

Send private messages.

Develop relationships.

And, when appropriate, work together on investigations.

YOUR CASE. YOUR INVESTIGATION. YOUR COMMUNITY.

A strange photograph doesn’t have to remain buried on someone’s hard drive.

An eyewitness account doesn’t have to disappear into an old forum thread.

A strange experience doesn’t have to become just another forgotten internet post.

And an unanswered question doesn’t have to remain unanswered simply because nobody has taken the time to investigate it.

The Truth Unexplained gives members a place to document these things and bring other people into the investigation.

Create a case.

Find investigators.

Gather evidence.

Discuss the possibilities.

Investigate together.

WE DON’T PROMISE ANSWERS

The unexplained is called “unexplained” for a reason.

Not every case will have a spectacular explanation.

Some will eventually turn out to have ordinary causes.

Some will remain uncertain.

Some may reveal something genuinely difficult to explain.

That’s okay.

The purpose of The Truth Unexplained isn’t to tell you what to believe.

It’s to create a place where questions can be examined.

We encourage curiosity without requiring belief, skepticism without dismissing possibilities, and investigation without predetermined conclusions.

Follow the evidence.

MORE THAN A SOCIAL NETWORK

Social networks are excellent at helping people share things.

But unexplained cases often need more than a post.

They need context.

They need evidence.

They need discussion.

They need research.

They need people.

And they need somewhere for everything to come together.

That’s what we’re building.

A social investigation community where unexplained cases can become collaborative investigations.

THE CASE IS OPEN

There are still thousands of unexplained stories waiting to be documented.

Thousands of photographs waiting to be examined.

Thousands of questions waiting to be asked.

And countless people who have experienced something strange and never found anyone willing to seriously discuss it.

Maybe you have a case.

Maybe you have evidence.

Maybe you have expertise.

Maybe you have a theory.

Or maybe you’re simply curious.

You belong here.

Create a case.

Join a group.

Start a discussion.

Find other investigators.

And see what you can uncover.

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.

The investigation starts here.
