TheTruthUnexplained › Forums › Unmapped Mysteries › What Am I Seeing in the Sky on Google Maps?
Years ago I was exploring Google Maps/Google Earth near Area 51 and came across some really unusual anomalies in the sky that I couldn’t explain. Since then it seems that they had been overwritten when Google Street View updated their maps but luckily I was able to use the coordinates to located them again using a past capture date.
They don’t look like typical clouds or birds, or image glitches to me. Initially I thought that maybe they were the parachutes of skydivers, however, based on my research, I found out, these coordinates sit directly inside Nellis Air Force Base airspace and adjacent to Area 51’s northern boundary, so that would mean that skydiving and paragliding would not be allowed in that area.
Could these just be camera artifacts? Reflections? or maybe even some type of government aircraft? Is there any chance they could be… Something else?
Here are the coordinates: 37.6890407,-115.8284382 and LINK
